One of the greatest challenges, we as professionals have had, is getting the attention of potential patients. Why? Hearing loss is not a topic consumers want to engage in. There is a deep connection between aging and being hard of hearing. It's a stigma we have perpetuated by constantly focusing on selling people on "invisible", "discrete" hearing aids which confirm the stigma. So now that the topic of hearing loss is on the lips of major consumer electronics brands - such as Apple - this is the greatest “attention” opportunity this industry has ever seen. EVER!
